Gena began dancing at the age of 3.  She has studied under Adrienne Logan-McCarthy and has taken many master classes from well-known choreographers such as Charles Kelly, Raymond Lukens, Joe Lanteri, Travis Wall (from So You Think You Can Dance) and more. She is certified by the Dance Educators of America (DEA).  Gena has performed in places such as Disney World in Florida, Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, and the Nutcracker on Broadway.  She has taken master classes from Ian Carney from the Broadway show Movin' Out and the Radio City Rockettes. She performed in her high school musicals all four years of high school and has won awards for best choreography at the Helen Hayes Awards.  Gena was on the competition team for over 3 years and won gold and platinum medals and high scoring awards. She graduated St Thomas Aquinas College in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in English. Gena will begin her master's program in the next few months for her certifiacation in Literacy.
